Denmark: Annual report on recognition published

Assessment activity on the rise according to annual report.

In 2013, the Danish Agency for Higher Education (DK-ENIC/NARIC) made 5,600 assessment of various kinds. This was a 12 % increase on the previous year, mainly due to additional assessments in connection with the Danish greencard scheme.

The figures are part of the annual report presented to the Danish Parliament (Folketing) by the Danish Minister for Higher Education and Science.

The report covers statistics as well as qualitative developments concerning:

  • Assessment and other recognition activities carried out by the Danish ENIC/NARIC office
  • Appeals concerning credit transfer brought before the Qualifications Board
  • Professional recognition carried out by the authorities responsible for the regulated professions.
