Facts and figures about recognition in Denmark

Danish employers can now get a fast-track assessment from the Danish ENIC/NARIC office when they consider employing a holder of foreign qualifications.

Until now, few private companies have had their job applicants' foreign qualifications assessed by the Danish ENIC/NARIC office, which is part of the Danish Agency for Universities and Internationalisation.

In order to make the assessments more useful for employers, it was decided to introduce a "turbo assessment" procedure, offering assessments within one week.

This initiative is described in the latest annual report on foreign qualifications assessment and recognition. The report gives facts and figures about recognition in Denmark.

The Minister for Science, Innovation and Higher Education, Morten Ƙstergaard, sent the 2011 report to Danish Parliament (Folketinget) in June 2012.
